ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I'm Sam Blay, the face behind SB Photography here in Toronto.

​

I recently started my professional photography business after pursuing my passion for photography. Prior to launching my own business, I completed my Social Work undergraduate program. I quickly realized my love for teaching, and completed my Masters of Teaching from OISE at the University of Toronto. Although I love being in the classroom and working with students, photography was always in the back of my mind.

At the beginning of 2021, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy into the world! As a new Mom, I truly understand the significance of appreciating every moment - they grow up SO fast!

At the end of 2019, I decided that 2020 would be the year to turn my "hobby" into a part of my life, and launched SB Photography. People often ask me why I have specialized in newborn, toddler, maternity, family and couples photography. My answer is simple; These are the MOST special moments in a families life, and I was to capture these moments to last forever.

I am located in Vaughan, Ontario and photographing clients all over Toronto and surrounding areas. Whether you are interested in a lifestyle photoshoot at your house, at a park, in a studio, or another location... I got you covered!

Building a special relationship and fostering loving and enjoyable sessions are my biggest priority. I would love nothing more than to be apart of your special milestones!
