I’m Sam!

​

The owner and principal photographer behind SB Photography located in Toronto and the GTA.​

​

I’m a proud mom of two amazing (and very busy!) boys, so trust me when I say I truly understand how fast the little moments fly by. One minute they’re tiny newborns, and the next they’re running circles around you. Watching my own kids grow so quickly made me fall even more in love with documenting these fleeting stages for other families.

​

My path started a little differently. After completing my Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Community Social Services and my Masters of Teaching, I realized my heart was pulling me somewhere else, toward photography and working with families in a more creative way. Turns out, combining children, families, and a camera felt exactly right!

​

I believe photos don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. I capture the giggles, cuddles, tears, snack breaks, toddler meltdowns, and all the beautiful chaos in between. My style is bright and natural, and sessions are designed to feel relaxed and fun, whether we’re at home, in a studio, or outdoors. We’ll laugh, move around, and embrace whatever the kids decide to do, because the best photos often happen right in the middle of those candid moments.
